You can stop paying into your Cushon pension. How you do this depends on your situation.

Before your first payment

If you have not started paying yet, you can leave straight away. Your Cushon welcome pack has details on how to do this.

After you start paying

Once payments begin, government rules mean you cannot take money out or stop your pension. Your pension stays with Cushon until you reach the minimum pension age. The current minimum pension age is 55 and will rise to 57 in 2028.

You cannot take money from your pension before the minimum pension age. Once you reach this age, you can decide how to get your money.

Moving your pension

You can move your Cushon pension to another provider at any time.
