You can add a one-off payment to your ISA (individual savings account) or GIA (general investment account) anytime, using Direct Debit or bank transfer.
How to top up your ISA or GIA in the Cushon app
- Log in to your Cushon app. If you don’t have it yet, download the Cushon app.
- Tap the + icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select ‘Make a payment’ and pick your ISA or GIA pot.
- Choose to pay by Direct Debit or bank transfer.
Include your payment reference number
If you pay by bank transfer, always add a payment reference when asked. Use your ISA or GIA reference number (also called your U number).
You can find this number on any statements we've sent or in the app. In the app, go to your ISA or GIA pot, tap ‘More actions’, then ‘Make a payment’, and choose ‘Pay in via bank transfer’. You’ll see our bank details and your reference number there.
Will one-off payments arrive the same day?
- Bank transfers can land the same day if made before 2pm.
- Direct Debits can land the same day if set for that date by 11:59pm.
Payments may arrive the same day. To avoid delays, transfer money a few days before the end of the tax year.
