When transferring your ISA, there are a few things to be aware of:
- The transfer can take some time. Check the progress to make sure everything goes as planned.
- Your current provider might charge an exit fee. Some providers still do this, so check if it applies to you.
- The transfer amount may be less than expected. Because investments can go up and down in value, the final amount in your new ISA might be lower if the investments are sold at a lower price than when you requested the transfer.
