An Ex-Post statement shows the fees taken from your investments over a year. It helps you see what you’ve paid and how it affects what you get back.
When do I get an Ex-Post statement?
You’ll get an ex-post statement if you held investments with us during the year. This includes closed pots if charges were applied. If you switched or added funds, your statement lists all funds held.
Why do I receive an Ex-Post statement?
We must show you the fees taken each year. This helps you see what you pay and how it affects your investment.
How can I view my Ex-Post statement?
Log in to the Cushon app or website. Open the Documents or My documents section to see your statements.
What does my Ex-Post statement show?
Total fees taken from your investments, shown in £ and %*
- Platform fees
- Fund manager fees
Your investments are held with Aegon UK Plc - Cofunds Limited.
*Fees based on your total investment value at a set date.
How are fees calculated and collected?
Fees are based on your investment value and fund activity. All fees are taken from your investments automatically. The Cash Deposit pot has no fees.
What types of fund fees might I see?
- Ongoing: Regular fund manager fees
- One-off: Charges for setting up, leaving, or specific actions
- Transaction: Costs for buying and selling in the fund
- Incidental: Fees like performance or exit charges
How do fees affect my investment returns?
Fees reduce what you get back. Your statement will show estimated returns before and after fees. Not all products have fees (e.g., the Cash Deposit pot).
Why do I see a penalties section?
If you take money out of a Lifetime ISA in a way that’s not allowed, you pay a 25% penalty. HMRC charges these penalties and we pay them from your account. Penalties are not included with fees totals.
What if I see a fee I don’t recognise?
Check your previous statements or fund breakdown. Contact us if you have questions.
Past performance is not a guide to future performance, nor a reliable indicator of future results or performance.
The value of investments can go down as well as up which means you may get back less than you put in. We do not provide financial advice.
